Description
A tettigonia viridissima or great green bush cricket (although I have to say our name, which translates as "great green sabre grasshopper", is far more poetic ) I found in our backyard. This was a young one still, about half an inch long.

It's certainly a great shot in perfect focus! But the eyes do make me laugh.
